The following description of Cosmic Consciousness comes from my soon to be released book (publication date is Sept. 7, 2008), Grant Me a Higher Love.

“Cosmic Consciousness or universal consciousness is our collective sense of affection and affinity for, and oneness with, all God’s creations. This cosmic connection is a spiritual and intellectual illumination in which we gain an inner knowingness that life is eternal, only love is real, and everything in the cosmos has a spirit.
Cosmic Consciousness is not something you find outside of yourself, some kind of Holy Grail you seek. It already exists within each of us, buried in the deepest recesses of our collective unconscious. Know that the divine light of this illuminating state of being burns within you. You’re under karmic obligation to discover it.
The key to opening the portals to this highest level of consciousness is our own personal experience of Enlightenment, in which we experience the Biblical moment on the mountaintop when transfiguration occurs, and we see the entire universe through our spiritual third eye. Suddenly the once unfathomable mysteries of the cosmos becomes clear to us.
When we achieve this heightened state of awareness, the immortals begin channeling vast volumes of information and knowledge to us, and our emotional, psychological, spiritual, and intellectual growth evolves in quantum leaps.”
In this new millennium, it is God’s greatest wish that we all evolve in this lifetime to reach this heightened state of being. If we are to do this, each and every day we must stop and deeply reflect on our life, our life choices, and paths, and ask ourselves this: “Are the things I am doing and saying serving my highest good and the highest good of others.”
