Crazy Days/Crazy Nights — Tonight I will be on WVNJ — Dresser After Dark — 1160am

The above video is certainly a reminder that there is a strong body/mind connection. We sometimes get so caught up in a goal that it overtakes our life, and we lose sight of who we are and what we really want.

The trick is to pay attention to our bodies. Our bodies have a logic of their own.  Our minds can try to force, manipulate, coerce, and strong-arm us all it wants, but if the flesh isn’t willing, our bodies will find a way to sabotage our best efforts and slow us down.  Even to a complete halt if necessary.  Our bodies will do whatever it takes to get our minds to listen.

In these fast-paced days, when many of us are juggling way too many demands, we do need to take a moment each day to pay attention to our bodies.  Listen when it tells you to rest.  See your rising blood pressure or mounting pounds as a measure of not just your bodies’ health, but the health of your mind and spirit as well.

Lord knows — I am burning the candle at both ends. The marketing of the book is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do.  I never wanted to be a salesperson or a marketing wiz, but I do believe in the Grant Me a Higher Love philosophy, and I am doing my best to get the ideas and the book out there.  Even though, at times I am coming kicking and screaming ever inch of the way!

This morning I was on Rhett Palmer’s Florida Show.  He is a most gracious host, and I completely enjoyed the opportunity to be on his radio show.  Then for the rest of the day,  I was doing Tarot readings, and writing an outline for 13 radio shows of my own that I am being considered to host.  Later on tonight/tomorrow morning, I will be on the syndicated radio show,Dresser After Dark, that the above video is a cut from.  If you happen to be up tonight, in New York you can listen to WVNJ 1160am.  The rest of you in other parts of the country can check out the other stations the show will be airing on by going to the following web site: wwwdresserafterdark.

Since I am working all hours of the day and night right now, I am trying to be extra careful to be sure I am sleeping when I can, eating properly, meditating, and working out.  Remember: Our bodies are holy temples, and no matter what, we must treat them as such.  My body will most definitely let me know when it has had enough, and I’m not pushing my luck.
