I am grateful to have been asked by the Hon. Carol Mackenzie, Supreme Court Justice, to be a guest speaker at the local chapter of Soroptimist, which is an international organization for business and professional woman who work to improve the lives of women and girls, in local communities and throughout the world.
The name, "Soroptimist," means "best for women." This wonderful organization prides itself on bringing out the best in each other and in all women.
All of my life, I have strived to empower women. To help them achieve their goals, heal their issues, and now my mission is to have women have the best relationships ever -- both personally and professionally.
My topic will be: All Your Relationships Begin with You.
I have a feeling that the year 2009 will be a very challenging and empowering year for women.
