Most of you don’t know that I also happen to be a children’s entertainer. Today, I was blessed to be hanging around with the “tween” set who are incredibly into the Jonas Brothers, and who were deliriously happy to be celebrating the advent of summer and the end of a long school year.
When I posted the blog yesterday with the lyrics to Steve Winwood’s song Higher Love, I had no idea that the Jonas Brothers had a version of this song as well. So, when a party filled with nine year old boys and girls all started to sing-a-long to the Jonas Brother’s version of that song this afternoon, I had to laugh, knowing that the universe does hear and see everything we do!
This blog is in honor of the hundreds of thousands of children I have entertained during my illustrious career. May God and the universe hear them as they joyfully sing, “Bring me a higher love.” I pray that each and every one of them will be granted a great Soul Mate love to help make their journey through life a little easier.
