The recent soldier-on-soldier violence committed in Baghdad by John M. Russell brought me to my knees. My heart bleeds for the victims and their families who will suffer all the days of their lives from this tragic event. My heart also bleeds for John Russell who is a victim of war and the complete mental and spiritual breakdown he experienced was a direct result of his being deployed to battle three times. Our troops are only human and we are asking them to take on more than any one person can bear.
Please pray for peace. Peace in all of our hearts and in the world.
I have too many clients coming back from Iraq and Afghanistan shell-shocked beyond recognition. They have been to war too many times already and their lives and families are falling apart as they anticipate being deployed once again. We are asking too few people to do too much. Please pray that this policy changes now. We are allowing a few of our children to be the sacrificial lambs of the world.
Remember that duality is an illusion. “There is nothing above, save God; nothing below, save humankind.”
What the world so desperately needs now is Soul Mate love, for children who are raised in homes where there is peace, love, and joy, won’t grow up to wage war.
