Regina Calcaterra is self-made woman and a contender for the State Senate seat presently held by Kenneth P. LaValle. I met Regina at a party in the Hamptons this weekend. She is a brilliant lawyer and a kind human being. I believe that she is a woman on a mission and that every life experienced she has been through has prepared her for this election. She was raised in poverty by a drug and alcohol addicted mother. She was often homeless with her sibblings and then shipped off to foster homes. What was always paramount in her early life was to get an education and fight her way out of poverty. I believe that Regina has the heart, soul, mind, and strong body to turn New York around. She is willing to attack the big issues like property taxes and the state of our school systems.
