St. Teresa's Prayer

Recently, my friend and client, Theresa Schmidt emailed me the following St. Teresa’s prayer and told me to pass it on to eleven different people.  I thought, why stop at eleven, why not post it for all to see, since it is a beautiful prayer.

I learned from reading that email that St. Teresa is known as the Saint of Little Ways, since she believed in doing the little things in life with care and great love.  I further learned that she is represented by roses.

The following day, I was scheduled to read Tarot cards for several clients that had been set up by my friend, Carmela Fucci.  When I met Carmela at her office, I couldn’t help but notice her tatoo, which was a cross with a rose in it.  I asked her, “Is your tatoo in honor of St. Teresa?”  She said, “Yes,” and then she proceeded to show me  all the statues of St. Teresa she had, and told me how she often prayed to St. Teresa for guidance.  I found this event to be pure synchronicity, since quite frankly, I’d never given much thought to this particular saint, until the email arrived the night before.  And to my amazement, one of the clients I read that day told me she was named after St. Teresa.

Before you read St. Teresa’s prayer, you are supposed to make a wish.  So, if there’s a wish in your heart that you are desperately hoping will come true, take a moment to say this prayer and see what happens on the fourth day.  I sincerely hope you achieve your heart’s desire, and please let me know if and what happens.  And  remember, in the meantime, to do all the little tasks and things you’re asked to do with great love and care.  The universe will see this as a Labor of Love, and reward you accordingly.

St. Theresa’s Prayer

May today there be peace within.

May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be

May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.

May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.

May you be content knowing you are a child of God.

Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.

It is there for each and every one of us.

I pray your wish comes true!
