Nothing stimulates the collective soul of humankind the way the birth of a child does, or acts of goodwill, or the bringing forth of a work of art — an album, a movie, a book.
I want to tell you how deeply touched I am by the showering of praise, by the sincere wishes of good luck, and the phone calls which come throughout the day saying, “I got your book, and I can’t wait to read it!”
Again, thank you for your support, and to those of you who have taken the time to give the book Five Star reviews on my Amazon page, from the bottom of my heart, I say, “Thank you.”
For those of you along the Eastern seaboard getting pelted by the tropical storm, I pray you stay safe and dry. I, for one, am readying the ark, since I have to go out to do Tarot readings at a party till the wee hours of the morning.
Earlier today, my daughter, Shana, and I, were at a children’s party hosted by our friend, Cathy Moriarty. Cathy is the brilliant Academy award-nominated actress, whose portrayal of a wife stuck in a First Rung Brutal Cellmate marriage in the movie Raging Bull, is forever etched in the collective soul of movie goers around the world. Cathy’s beautiful home is on a peninsula on the North Fork of Long Island, and by the Grace of God, the storm, for the most part, held out till the party was over.
Enjoy tomorrow when the storm blows over!
