The Divine but Difficult Gift of Twinsoulship

The idea of Twin Souls is as old as man, and every age and era seems to have its own legends, myths, and stories that reveal this concept.
The most important thing you can do right now is to let go of any preconceived notions you have about Twin Souls.  The first thing you need to know is that a Twin Soul reunion isn’t always the “Happily Ever After” stuff of fairy tales, although it can be, and in the not-so-distant future, as we evolve and grow in knowledge of love, it will be a blessed and joyful event. Sadly, at this stage of human consciousness, it’s a difficult course lined with obstacle after obstacle, and these reunions can bring more pain than bliss.  Therefore, if you have been wishing for a Twin Soul reunion, be forewarned: Be careful what you wish for.  Sometimes the gods punish us — they give us what we wished for.

The next thing you need to know is that each of us houses deep within the knowledge of our missing half, our Twin Soul, sometimes referred to as “Twin Flame” or “Twin Ray.”

Twin Souls are actually one soul housed within two separate bodies — one male and one female.   A great love is apt to bring forth a great fear, and there is no greater love than that which exists between Twin Flames.  Therefore, this reunion is as terrifying as it is exhilarating.

You must also come to realize that no relationship on this earth is as extraordinary and as heart-expanding as a Twin Soul one.  Remember, the deeper the relationship, the more we’ll be challenged to heal and grow, and there is no relationship as all-encompassing as a Twin Soul one.  In fact, the most intimate and intense relationship that exists for human beings occurs between Twin Souls. Great intimacy is a great gift, but it’s also a great burden, for it asks that we burn away all that’s untrue.  Sometimes the soul is willing, but the ego isn’t.  Remember, the soul’s essential nature is composed of love, but the ego’s essential nature is composed of fear.

Twin Soul relationships on the earth plane are rare, comprising less than one percent of all relationships.  As we go further into The Age of Aquarius, this percentage will increase.  How fast this percentage rate increases depends upon free will and how willing people are to heal and grow.

God reunites Twin Souls in hopes that they’ll become a beacon of light for others to see the true nature of unconditional love.

Most importantly, God reunites Twin Souls because they have an important project, work of art, scientific discovery, or some other service to perform either jointly or individually, that will benefit all of humanity.  God feels that the rapid soul growth and consciousness raising effect caused by the reuniting of the Twin Souls is necessary for the project to be completed.  Think of the Twin Souls, Elizabeth Barrett and Robert Browning, and the poetry they created; or the accomplishments of the Twin Soul chemists, Marie and Pierre Curie.
